and away I go....

Well here we are in the second week of school and I am getting into a routine. This is the first year that I am working as a substitute and the jobs are few at this time but I know more will be coming my way!! If I could find a very part-time job that would make me so, so happy but jobs like that are hard to come by.

This is the year that I became a parent to a kidlet in high school, middle school, and elementary school. It will be that way for the next two years and a little bit of a struggle as sometimes activities are overlapping or just conflict all together. So our family will be a divide and conquer family for the remainder of our kidlets at home school years. Each of my kidlets has a different set of goals that we have set for them depending on personality, learning style, etc. My ultimate goal for my kidlets is to raise well rounded human beings that have respect for themselves and others, manners, and can survive in this world.

Well I guess that is it for today!!

You Might Be a Tech Mom If.....

So I have three kidlets that perform in some form of Theater, Dance, etc. My oldest kidlet is a Techie, he prefers the backstage life to the onstage life. So these two statements are inspired by not only him but others as well.

You Might Be a Tech Mom If.....

Number One for today:

A prop piece of paper gets left on stage through all of Act 1 then after Intermission you would think it should have magically disappeared but nope, it got left there and stayed for all of Act 2 as well.

So instead of watching the show you are staring at a bright neon colored piece of paper while watching a show that took place during the 1800's.

Number Two for today:

If you see the Stage Door more than your own Front Door!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Gardens Kiosk Review

On Sunday, the girl kidlet and I visited Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to check out the new Gardesn Kiosk that was highlighted on the Disney Parks Blog.  It had just started to rain but the staff including, Chef Michael, the visionary behind the concept were hanging out so we spoke with them a few minutes. I have to say that I hope this concept goes over well and that they expand it to the other parks and even have the offerings at Downtown Disney. The girl kidlet enjoyed knowing she could go right to this spot and find snacks she could safely eat!! I look forward to adding Disney's Animal Kingdom into our regular Disney routine with how often we visit the parks being Annual Passholders.

I get some of my best information of dining with Food Allergies at Disney from Sarah over at Gluten Free and Dairy Free at Walt Disney World. You can check out all the info she got on the new Gardens Kiosk as well!!

Happy Reading!!
