The girl kidlet and I are headed to Walt Disney World in just 15 days for a real overnight stay. The reason I say real overnight stay is because being Florida Residents and Annual Passholders we take many day trips that last just a few hours. We are attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) which we haven't been to in a number of years but we are so excited to wait in line to meet Jack and Sally, that is the highlight of this trip. This trip is to be celebrate our birthdays and be a mommy-daughter weekend. Our hotel is booked! We were accepted into the MyMagic+ Testing which is so exciting! With the MyMagic+ we have received our MagicBands via UPS after we customized them online. We picked matching pink bands and can't wait to buy accessories when we are on vacation. The biggest and perhaps nicest thing about the MagicBands is that we get to test out the FastPass+ Service so we have already made our selections for the 2 days we will be at the parks. On day 1 we are heading to Magic Kingdom as soon as we arrive to utilize our FP+ to enjoy the rides that we have chosen which are - Pirates of the Caribben (a must every trip!), Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Tomorrowland Speedway. Once we check into the hotel in the afternoon we will get ready to head back for MNSSHP and eat dinner at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe because we enjoy the Gluten Free and Allergy Friendly Offerings here. We will most likely take it to go because that is the girl kidlets plan so that we can get in line and wait to see Jack and Sally. We have lots of stuff planned for during the party that only happens at the party, I just hope that I can fit it all in. Then on day 2 we will head to Disney's Hollywood Studios where we have already chosen are FP+ for Toy Story Midway Mania, Voyage of The Little Mermaid, and Star Tours. After we use our FP+ we will head to Epcot to enjoy a few of the offerings from the International Food & Wine Festival that are gluten free and allergy friendly.

Focus
I guess it's been almost a month since I posted and the goal was to post 3 to 5 times a week, time really flies by in our house. This is now the time to Focus for me and my family. This is the time that I need to reevaluate things. I feel that I can't ever really truly write what I feel or opinions because someone will take it the wrong way but I know now that isn't the way I should be thinking. I should be thinking that others matter but they don't, if that makes sense? I should be thinking about me and mine first! I should be thinking about the great chances that we do receive. I should be listening to my kidlets more because well they want to try different things and now is that time. I should be focusing on my life and my kidlets lives and my families lives, so that is the turn I am taking in my life. Others around me will just have to understand and realize that I am done - burned out, fed up, whatever you want to call it but I am done! I am the parent that over volunteers for things but will now take a step back to Focus.

and away I go....
Well here we are in the second week of school and I am getting into a routine. This is the first year that I am working as a substitute and the jobs are few at this time but I know more will be coming my way!! If I could find a very part-time job that would make me so, so happy but jobs like that are hard to come by.
This is the year that I became a parent to a kidlet in high school, middle school, and elementary school. It will be that way for the next two years and a little bit of a struggle as sometimes activities are overlapping or just conflict all together. So our family will be a divide and conquer family for the remainder of our kidlets at home school years. Each of my kidlets has a different set of goals that we have set for them depending on personality, learning style, etc. My ultimate goal for my kidlets is to raise well rounded human beings that have respect for themselves and others, manners, and can survive in this world.
Well I guess that is it for today!!

You Might Be a Tech Mom If.....
So I have three kidlets that perform in some form of Theater, Dance, etc. My oldest kidlet is a Techie, he prefers the backstage life to the onstage life. So these two statements are inspired by not only him but others as well.
You Might Be a Tech Mom If.....
Number One for today:
A prop piece of paper gets left on stage through all of Act 1 then after Intermission you would think it should have magically disappeared but nope, it got left there and stayed for all of Act 2 as well.
So instead of watching the show you are staring at a bright neon colored piece of paper while watching a show that took place during the 1800's.
Number Two for today:
If you see the Stage Door more than your own Front Door!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Gardens Kiosk Review
On Sunday, the girl kidlet and I visited Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to check out the new Gardesn Kiosk that was highlighted on the Disney Parks Blog. It had just started to rain but the staff including, Chef Michael, the visionary behind the concept were hanging out so we spoke with them a few minutes. I have to say that I hope this concept goes over well and that they expand it to the other parks and even have the offerings at Downtown Disney. The girl kidlet enjoyed knowing she could go right to this spot and find snacks she could safely eat!! I look forward to adding Disney's Animal Kingdom into our regular Disney routine with how often we visit the parks being Annual Passholders.
I get some of my best information of dining with Food Allergies at Disney from Sarah over at Gluten Free and Dairy Free at Walt Disney World. You can check out all the info she got on the new Gardens Kiosk as well!!
Happy Reading!!

Well I thought...
that I would really sit down and give this blog a go this time but so far I haven't. I don't really know what I should write about, yet! Do I write about being a mom? a stage mom? What do you think?
